1. Take the Blue/Orange line to Rosslyn Metro Station. 2. Out of the main exits of the Metro station (not the smaller exit leading up a flight of concrete stairs), TURN RIGHT. 3. At the end of the block, TURN LEFT (downhill). 4. At the corner, CROSS THE STREET in either direction. 5. At the opposite corner, CROSS THE STREET AGAIN. You should now be on the same corner as the giant ABC television, diagonally across from the first corner. 6. When facing the TV, WALK TO THE RIGHT (in the direction that is level, not leading downhill). You will pass a Baja Fresh and a CVS. Directly after CVS you will pass under an overpass and then pass a gate on the left that says Freedom Park. About 20-30 feet ahead there will be a narrow concrete path across some dirt, through a short iron bar fence into a small parking lot. 7. ENTER THE PARKING LOT. You will probably pass a few ABC news vans. 8. TURN LEFT out of the parking lot and cross the street to the brick paths. 9. CROSS THE RIGHT BRICK PATH over the grassy knoll. 10. BEAR RIGHT on the other side of the grassy knoll and walk around it. You will wind up conveniently behind the small white Guard House. 11. TURN LEFT AND FOLLOW THE PARKING LOT as it curves around the building about 300 feet until you see the picnic area on the right. When you see people rolling around on the lawn, you're there! (If there are people using the grills/picnic tables, please GO AROUND so nobody reports that ninja are disturbing their reserved grill time!)
